A Child’s Good Friend

Our Father’s World Lesson 50
The Christian Literature Society for China, Shanghai

Children of the World Song

The children of the world

live in every kind of place–

north south, east and west;

They wear different clothes

(and) speak different languages;

they are all in Jesus’ bosom.

Jesus loves all the children of the world,

what a glory it is to be in his bosom;

In him there is no north or south,

no east or west;

all the children are brothers and sisters.

Children’s Evening Prayer

My merciful Heavenly Father,

tonight a little child asks for your blessing;

stay close to me through the dark night,

and keep me safe til the dawn comes.
