The exhibit ‘Embrace和’ uses art to visualize the localization of Christianity in China, building a bridge between scholarship, the public, digital humanities, and international outreach. It makes historical images visible, intelligible, searchable, and reusable—a scholarship‑grounded public program linking past and present, East and West, research and society. The aim is harmony without uniformity. This exhibit brings together Christian iconography and Chinese symbols, reducing misinterpretation and fostering understanding. The Ambassador Medal honors contributors and links scholars, institutions, and collections to facilitate touring shows and to share resources.
