Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near. Believe in the gospel. The gospel is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. Whoever believes in Jesus has eternal life. Salvation is found in no one else. Jesus himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
